After nearly 17 years in the security industry Andrew finally decided to go at it alone. With a good reputation behind him and a wide network of contacts he is looking to build a soft services company that offers a top quality, value for money service by keeping DIMA’s standards extremely high and a close personal relationship for all clients.
Andrew said “It was a nervous decision but the right one for me. We now have a fantastic management team that will help us grow and develop our brand.”
Business Support Manager
Having worked within the Hotel and Hospitality Industry, Pamela naturally progressed into working within the Recruitment Industry in and around Edinburgh and Lothians. Pamela then moved on to a support role within a Pharmaceutical Recruitment Agency. After 6 years in Edinburgh, Pamela moved to Portsmouth and spent four years working on a MOD site.
Pamela said “I have predominantly always worked in a business support role, heavily involved in Security and Recruitment Procedures (implementing and creating) as well adhering to Security Vetting Procedures.”
Having been with the company for just over six months, Gregor is the latest addition to the company, he has experience operating within a variety of events and venues, from door and events supervision to airport and transport hubs. With a background in both securities and risk management, Gregor’s plethora of skills have allowed him to seamlessly blend into the management team.
Gregor said, I embarked on my first job in security through a course being held at my university back in 2012, I always assumed it would be my degree that I would focus on for work, but through time, I have come to view my security qualification as one of the more valuable thing’s that I left university with, as I’ve never been short of work with it!”
Imran, our operations manager, has over 10 years experience in management and 5 years experience in the security industry.
He is responsible for keeping the operations running smoothly and helping to ensure the stability and growth of company.
Lindsey Struthers has now joined DIMA Services to head up their cleaning division. Lindsey brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge and is keen to help expand this sector within DIMA Services.
I have been involved in the Cleaning Sector with over 10 years’ experience within a Care Home Setting. I have always worked in an environment where maintaining extremely high standards is absolutely essential, as well as looking after a small team of staff to ensure these standards are met and upheld. I am excited to becoming a valued member of the DIMA management team and for the opportunity presented to me to bring my skills and experience to DIMA Services.
